As Development Engineer (m/f/d) you will be mainly responsible for system engineering with focus on the design and development of Phone as a Key (PaaK) applications. PaaK is a new car access system to lock/unlock, start vehicles, and welcome lighting by Smartphone. Key points of this system are secure and fast communication (NFC, BLE, UWB, CAN).

• Analyze and understand customer requirements and needs.
• Design system requirements of function (owner pairing, lock/unlock, vehicle start, welcome lighting), wireless communication (NFC, BLE, UWB), CAN communication and security.
• Support and test the PaaK feature in the vehicles.
• Develop the Proof of Concept for next generation Paak. Support the research of the trend and technology.
• Create and present technical presentations.

• Engineering degree (Bachelor, Master or Diploma).
• Knowledge of software, electronics, and physics.
• Experience in system design to create the requirements for hardware and software teams.
• Profound experience with CAN communication, Wireless communication (NFC, BLE, UWB), ASPICE and Microsoft VISIO
• Experience with smartphone app development and digital key would be an advantage.
• Open communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to work in a team, intercultural competence and good organizational skills
• Good IT skills (MS Office)
• Very good level of English and German. Business language is English.
