Job Description

Inbound Logistics has become very complex in very short time and our internal organization urgently needs to be informed to cope with today’s situation.

  • Supporting daily operation of the team (4 persons) executing inbound
    logistics for our warehouses in Europe (airfreight/sea freight/road).
     
  • Monitoring/analyzing existing routes for back-up/alternative solutions
     
  • Window person/contact with Denso bidding centers in Japan and Singapore, our Sales offices in Europe, shipping lines and service providers (barge, train, trucking, etc.)
     
  • Key person inbound logistics improvement projects (visibility, cost optimization, etc.)
     
  • Managing Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) with local service providers.
     
  • Problem solving in case of irregularities.
     
  • Registering and reporting Key Performance Indicators

Qualifications

  • HBO level required
     
  • Experience in Logistics (airfreight/sea freight)
     
  • Experience in motivating and managing a small team
     
  • Good analytical and communication skills
  •  Good knowledge of the English language, verbal and in writing.
