For our Warehouse we are looking for an enthusiast Team Leader. As a Team Leader, you are the point of contact for your team of 22 people. You will guide and support them in their daily work as efficiently as possible. Together with your team, you ensure that the DENSO standards for safety, quality and productivity are achieved. You plan, do, check and follow up progress of the daily processes and take ad hoc actions to adjust and optimize. If necessary, you address members of your team about their progress and productivity, but you also take initiatives to increase employee motivation and satisfaction. 

Together with the other Team Leaders you clearly communicate where we want to go, but especially how we can get there together. As Team Leader you are the central point between several different groups (Scheduling, Customs, Transport Planning). We use LEAN to evaluate our systems and procedures to continuously improve on logistic processes (Kaizen).  

You will be working in two shifts, 06:00 until 14:30 and 14:30 until 23:00. Monday until Friday.  The Team Leaders report to the Shift Leader who is responsible for one of our warehouses in Weesp.  

• MBO education in the direction of logistics.  
• At least 3 years experience in a similar role within a warehouse/distribution center.  
• Proven knowledge in warehouse management fundamentals. Experience with WMS is a plus (Manhattan).  
• You have analytical skills.  
• Ability to work with usual Office 365 applications.  
• Strong written and oral communication skills to communicate issues.  
• You are customer focused and result driven 
• You have the ability to set priorities.
