Job Description

Purpose : New business development aligned to DENSO's focus on CO2 Neutral, Energy saving and Peace of Mind 

Business Unit: One-EU After Market & Industrial Solutions

Department: Non-Automotive New Business Development


Responsibilities:

•Opportunity identification and creation of business model and business case;

Represent market intelligence and customer needs in Cross-EU DENSO New Bizz collaboration teams ;

•Build sustainable market & customer networks to obtain information and create partnerships;

•Lead idea creation, fostering agile business development;

Pro-actively drive progress towards the End in Mind target, by identifying and promoting key enablers to internal stakeholders.

 

Key Tasks :

1. Identify Market Intelligence / Research / Networking:

Internet / Consultant Market research related DN focus activities in different industries or segments (broad scanning).

•Visit Seminars, conferences, exhibitions and/or other industry events.

Market analysis to identify opportunities and requirements for success, e.g. 4Ps and 3Cs, possible business models, etc.

•Build up and maintain a customer / stakeholder network to collect customer needs, direction, and build organizational network

 

2. Business Model and Business case creation & validation

•Creation of society  & Industry needs resulting in a demand for new solutions / services and identify DENSO opportunity

•Collaborate within DENSO New Bizz Teams, customers and 3rd party companies to create and validate New Business models

Developing sales and market entry strategies to identify required next steps in partnerships, technology development, services etc.

Lead the way to first POC agreements and initial sales entries

Pro-active progress management towards End in Mind with proposals for next actions.

Qualifications

  • HBO / University education with relevant New Business development work experience;
  • Analytical mindset, good business sense and research capability and able to translate business problems into effective solutions;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills;
  • Able to think creatively and strategically;
  • Pro-active approach with persistence, resilience and flexible mindset;
  • Fluent in English, Dutch and German preferred.
