Job Description

We are looking for an Logistics Coordinator (m/f/d) to support our Sales department located in Eching, near Munich at the earliest possible date in full-time.

As a Logistics Coordinator (m/f/d), you ensure the supply of our customers with ordered parts in the right quantity at the right time in the right place under the most cost-effective conditions and are responsible for planning the flow of goods and inventory monitoring.

  • ensure proper customer delivery using relevant logistics systems (e.g. PPS system) by conducting personal and written negotiations with our warehouses and production plants in Europe and Japan, and organizing special freight and air freight if required
  • plan the demand of the production sites taking into account the periodic target stock,
  • process customer orders (pre-series, series, replacements) taking into account stock levels and plan data, further record and keep track of them
  • you are responsible for the monitoring of the part supply at start and end of production as well as the relevant correspondence in the context of order processing,
  • negotiate possible cost absorption with the customer or DENSO manufacturing plants and carry out a written cost coverage,
  • support the sales engineers in regards to logistics issues and coordinate them with the relevant contact persons at the customer and in the manufacturing plants.

Qualifications

  • Apprenticeship as an industrial or logistics clerk or comparable training
  • We are happy to also give ambitious newcomers a chance
  • Very good user knowledge with a PPS system and affinity to numbers
  • Relevant work experience in the automotive industry desirable
  • Organizational and planning skills and good comprehension
  • Interpersonal skill, ability to work in a team and assertiveness
  • Commitment and initiative as well as an independent way of working
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Fluent knowledge of German and English spoken and written (business language is English)
  • Good PC skills (MS Office)
