In accordance with the strategy of his company, the logistics manager organizes, coordinates and manages the deliveries of parts to customers (factories) and guarantees the quality of services to his customers.
Job Description
Management and organisation of logistics flows and stocks
Coordinate, control the logistics operations of delivery of parts to the customer (factories) within the given deadlines
Plan the organisation of workload of employees
Organise the flow of information between the different departments
Optimise stock levels on the central logistics platform and in advanced stores
Follow up on orders with suppliers.
Ensure that delivery deadlines are respected.
Implementation and monitoring of the logistics performance policy
Control and reduce costs.
Set up and monitor logistics performance indicators, deal with any anomalies or dysfunctions.
Propose and implement continuous improvement solutions.
Monitor the process of continuous improvement of logistics services.
Ensure budget monitoring.
Participate in Europe logistics projects and / or deploy new logistics organization policies (eg: new ERP, etc.)
Ensure the deployment of new customer requests
Monitoring of relationships with customers and suppliers
Ensure constant exchange with customers regarding delivery times.
Select and negotiate prices with with subcontractors (advanced stores)
Track procurement and DENSO supplier relationships
Monitor and manage any disputes.
Management and management of human resources
Animate, coordinate, control its teams.
Evaluate the performance of the team and share information with management team.
Apply human resources management processes (recruitments, annual interviews, training, etc.).
Possible activities
Ensure international logistics (customs procedures, transport)
Participate in the deployment of the new logistics information system.
Qualifications
PROFILE
Required diplomas
Bac + 2, bac + 3 (BTS or DUT, professional license in logistics or transport) supplemented by several years of experience in a company from Industry (Automotive is a plus)
Engineering school, business school, university master's degree, logistics option, transport, purchasing, production management
A minimum of 7 years experience in logistics is required in order to access the position of logistics manager.
Mastering of logistics information systems (planning, scheduling, etc.) and office tools
Knowledge of national and international regulations (import-export, transport, handling, dangerous products, etc.) is a plus
Control of continuous improvement approaches
Fluency in English and French and possibly a third language
Management skills (operating account, financial analysis, budget monitoring, etc.)
