As an automotive supplier, DENSO is leading in developing and providing components and systems for heating, air conditioning, motor cooling, exhaust gas aftertreatment, automotive electrics and electronics and instrumentation.

As Quality Engineer for Pre Series Phase (m/f/d), you are acting as the face to our customers to manage the quality requirements from the customers towards the DENSO organization. The Pre Series Quality Engineer (m/f/d) is involved from the acquisition phase of a project until the release into the mass production. As customer interface, the Pre Series Quality Engineer (m/f/d) represents the company towards the customers and holds an important role to achieve customer satisfaction. Also, the productions plants need to be visited for customer audits and other project related needs. Therefore, the job profile requires regular business trips. Depending on the assigned project, the product plants can be located in Europe or overseas.

Key Tasks:

• manage customer quality requirements during acquisition phase and support the creation of a compliance matrix
• face to customers for quality topics during Pre Series Phase
• reflect known past problems to new projects and apply a preventive action approach
• manage customer audits
• manage customer quality tools during Pre Series Phase
• manage the series production release of product and process towards the customers

• university degree or comparable
• technical education background (engineering or comparable)
• excellent social skills for professional interaction with our customers and global DENSO organization
• work experience in the automotive industry
• experience with VDA standards and APQP
• experience with product and process audits (acc. VDA6.3 or others)
• experience with quality tools and requirements (PPA, FMEA, Statistical Process control, MSA/VDA5, quality control charts)
• independent way of working to be able to manage tasks successfully by themselves (esp. when on business trip).
