Job Description

The Company is seeking an experienced HR generalist to support the Senior Manager, HR.

The successful candidate will be confident, able to build relationships and have strong pc skills.  They will be affiliated to CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development), have gained excellent working knowledge of Employment Law and HR good practice, and be committed to continual study in HR.  Only candidates with previous HR experience will be considered for this role.

Job Function
The HR Advisor will be a first point of contact for employees on HR matters, handling effectively or escalating as necessary, and will be responsible for the administration of a number of HR processes on a daily, monthly and annual basis.

Main Responsibilities and Activities

  • Advising all staff on employee relations, employment law, company policies and procedures.
  • Reviewing and updating policies and procedures.
  • Supporting recruitment initiatives. 
  • Preparation of KPI reports.
  • Administration of the flexible benefits and pension schemes.
  • Provide monthly information to Finance for payroll.
  • Administration of HR monthly and annual processes including appraisal, salary review, etc.
  • Administration of HR related documentation.
  • Performing onboarding/off boarding activities including assisting incoming expats.
  • Administration of internal and external training courses.
  • Assisting with HR budget preparation and audit preparation.
  • Active input to the progress of individual and departmental goals.

Qualifications

The following give an indication of the skills, knowledge, experience, qualifications, and disposition necessary to be successful in this role:

  • CIPD Associate level as a minimum is essential.  Ideally you will have a degree in H.R. or a business management related specialism.
  • PC skills including MS Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience of pay and benefits
  • Experience in the administration of training & development
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law and HR good practice
  • Ability to analyse and understand data
  • Able to work on own initiative

A driving license is essential.
