Our Team Members, internally called Sports Players, are devoted to the best experience and satisfaction of our customers. We are looking for someone who is driven by sport with a team player mindset, someone who has a high level of energy and is a natural problem solver. Sport is what we do, so for us it's extremely important that it is a part of who you are. You will have an opportunity to work in the sport section of your interest, learning more about those sport products and practices that are important to you. 

Main responsibilities include ensuring proper merchandise presentation, working with online tools, going above and beyond to engage with our valued sports users and educating them about what Decathlon has to offer. Players are expected to be flexible in order to perform a range of functions in all areas of the store as business needs require. Additional tasks in specific situations may be requested if the performance of these tasks will help achieve our customer service and operational goals. 

As a Part-Time or Full-Time Decathlete, you will:

• Create a “WOW” customer experience by engaging and providing passionate service to customers who are visiting our store. Which will include greeting, listening and assisting our customers in exceeding their needs as you build a genuine relationship with them

• You’ll demonstrate an excellent knowledge of our products and offer, as well as Decathlon history and values

• We’ll count on you to support the team, keep the store and merchandise organized and looking its best

• Work together with our teams to achieve or exceed weekly sales goals 

• Support the daily operations of the store when management isn’t present

• Most importantly you’ll be a team player to a very dynamic team where culture and team environment is essential. Our team knows how to work hard and play hard together to achieve common goals.

• Passionate about Winter Sports/Fitness and Running/Water Sports and are excited by your potential to drive impactful change in people.

• Positive, hands-on attitude with a desire to learn

• Previous experience in retail is a plus
