Job title: Housekeeper

Salary: 7.83 GBP per hour

Workplace description: This hotel is perfectly placed to explore the best of what the Lake District has to offer and is surrounded by a variety of walks and beautiful views from almost all rooms. It boasts two function rooms, the largest of which can hold 120 people for a formal function, plus a restaurant, and a traditional pub which serves real ale and has low oak beams, flag stone floors, and a warm Cumbrian welcome. Guests on Business have a choice of two dedicated conference suites. There is also a coffee shop plus an indoor swimming pool and sauna. Friendly and helpful staff is waiting to help make your stay a memorable one.

Main duties and responsibilities: Supervise work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive rooms in hotel. Assign duties, inspect work, and investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take corrective action. Purchase housekeeping supplies and equipment, take periodic inventories, screen applicants, train new employees etc.

Essential criteria: A stable background is essential. The ideal candidate will also have experience of leading a team in a very hands on role for previous employers.

Accommodation provided: Yes (on an all inclusive basis)

Charge for accommodation: 230.00 GBP per month
