Job Description
Pay: To be determined based on experience
Previous DSP fleet experience is strongly preferred.
FLEET ASSOCIATE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct and document daily vehicle inspections
• Monitor vehicle conditions and ensure fleet readiness
• Coordinate vehicle assignments with dispatch and management
• Track vehicle maintenance, repairs, registrations, and service appointments
• Report and document vehicle damage, mechanical issues, and safety concerns
• Assist drivers with vehicle-related concerns before and after their routes
• Coordinate with repair shops, rental companies, and fleet service providers
• Maintain accurate fleet records and update fleet management systems
• Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, properly equipped, and ready for operation
• Escalate urgent vehicle or safety concerns to management
• Support daily fleet operations and other duties based on company needs
FLEET ASSOCIATE REQUIREMENTS
• Previous Amazon DSP fleet experience is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Amazon-branded delivery vehicles, including cargo vans, electric delivery vehicles, and Step Vans
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and damage assessment
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attendance, reliability, and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely move and park company vehicles
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
Qualifications
• Previous Amazon DSP fleet experience is strongly preferred
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Familiarity with Amazon delivery vehicles, including cargo vans, electric delivery vehicles, and Step Vans
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, inspections, and damage identification
• Experience using fleet tracking, inspection, or maintenance-management systems is preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to accurately complete reports and maintain fleet records
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to safely operate, move, and park company vehicles
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings
