Job Title: Snowflake Data Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 9-12 months Contract 

Job Summary:

A Snowflake Data Engineer responsible for SQL development, Snowflake cloud features, DBT, data modeling, performance tuning, and working with cross-functional teams in a fully onsite environment.

Job Description:

100% onsite role in San Jose, CA

Experience in SQL development

Knowledge of Snowflake cloud computing environments

Understanding of data warehousing concepts and metadata management

Experience with data modeling, data lakes, multidimensional models, and data dictionaries

Hands-on experience with Snowflake features including Time Travel and Zero-Copy Cloning

Experience in query performance tuning and cost optimization

Knowledge of Snowflake warehousing, architecture, processing, administration, DBT, and pipelines

Hands-on experience with PL/SQL and Snowflake

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Familiarity with design patterns

Ability to work with cross-functional teams and tech leads

Ability to guide team members technically and functionally

Must be a team player with a positive attitude
