The Cygnium System Engineers have at least 3 year working experience and combine their indepth technical knowledge and skills with excellent communication skills.

The responsibilities of our System Engineers typically, include:

• Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure.

• Installing, configuring, integrating, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools.

• Proactively, ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

Daily tasks of our System Engineer include:

• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.

• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.

• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.

• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.

• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.

• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

• Liaise extensively with the end-customers.

The Cygnium System Engineers have certifications and experience in the following fields:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.

• Proven working experience in installing, configuring, integrating systems and troubleshooting.

• Solid Cloud experience in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.

• Solid experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2016.

• Solid shell scripting skills.

• Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).

• Solid SQL & Cassandra database experience.

• Solids experience with Devops methodologies and tools (Agile, Scrum, JIRA).
