The Head of Finance is a strategic role responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company. This includes managing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring financial stability and growth. The role also demands extensive experience in fundraising to support capital-intensive aviation projects and initiatives.
Your main tasks will be:

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's business goals and objectives
• Further develop and oversee financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Lead fundraising efforts and grant initiatives to secure capital for growth, expansion, and operational needs
• Develop and maintain relationships with investors, banks, financial institutions, and other sources of capital
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to ensure transparency and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures
• Identify and manage financial risks, including currency, interest rate, and operational risks 
• Ensure the finance team has the skills and resources necessary to support the company's strategic objectives
   

• Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field of education
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with ideally 5 years in a senior leadership role within the aviation industry
• Experience in eVTOL is of advantage
• Proven track record in fundraising, including experience with private equity, venture capital, and debt financing
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• English Business language skills, German language skills are of advantage
