Job Description

We are looking for a talented Flight Control System Engineer to join our growing company. As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, develop, and refine model-based control algorithms for aircraft using Matlab and Simulink
  • Create and adapt test environments for control algorithms using Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL)
  • Design and develop accurate Flight Dynamics Models (FDM) for aircraft
  • Contribute to developing both software and hardware architectures, ensuring integration and functionality
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that models and control algorithms are based on the latest data and requirements
  • Work closely with the Flight Test Department to validate and refine control systems through practical testing

Qualifications

  • MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
  • At least three years of industrial experience in Flight Control Systems
  • Proficient in software development using Matlab and Simulink
  • Experience with Software Configuration Management Systems such as Git or ClearCase
  • Proven track record in developing plant and controller models for avionics systems
  • Demonstrated experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) simulators.
  • Strong expertise in system dynamics modelling
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal skills
