Secure Infrastructure Access (SIA) for RDP provides secure, brokered Remote Desktop access to Windows servers without exposing credentials or opening inbound network access.

We are looking for a highly motivated, deeply technical Tech Lead (Staff Engineer) to serve as the technical authority of the team. This is not a people-management role, but a hands-on technical leadership position. You will be responsible for setting the technical direction, raising engineering standards, and ensuring architectural excellence.

What You Will Do

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Own the technical vision and architecture of the SIA RDP services.
• Lead system design for complex, distributed, and security-sensitive solutions built on AWS serverless architecture.
• Drive design reviews and serve as the final technical authority on critical decisions.
• Mentor engineers and elevate the team’s technical bar through code reviews and best practices.

Hands-On Development

• Design, develop, test, secure, and deploy production-grade services using AWS serverless architecture, AWS CDK & Python.
• Lead implementation of complex cross-team and cross-service features.
• Participate actively in coding and serve as a role model for clean, maintainable, high-quality code.

Security & Engineering Excellence

• Research, design, and implement sophisticated cybersecurity mechanisms.
• Ensure secure-by-design principles are embedded into architecture and development.
• Lead threat modeling and ensure adherence to security and networking best practices.
• Drive improvements in reliability, scalability, observability, and performance.

Collaboration & Influence

• Work closely with security architects, product managers, and other development teams to shape technical strategy.
• Influence product and technical roadmaps with deep technical insight.

• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• 5+ years of strong Python/GO development experience.
• Proven experience designing and leading complex cloud-native systems.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservice/event-driven architectures.
• Strong background in AWS (serverless architecture is a major advantage).
• Solid understanding of security principles, authentication flows, and networking fundamentals.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Strong communication skills – able to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Self-driven, autodidact, passionate about learning and sharing knowledge.

How You Will Stand Out

• Experience in enterprise-scale SaaS or cloud security products.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS CDK and infrastructure-as-code.
• Proven track record of leading technical transformations or major architectural redesigns.
• Experience in secure remote access, privileged access management, or authentication flows.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence across teams.
