Job Description

Lead the team redefining how access is governed at scale. At CyberArk, we secure the identities that power the world’s most critical systems. This role sits at the heart of that mission.

As Entitlements Platform Team Engineering Manager, you will lead the engineering team responsible for the platform that determines how access is structured, governed, and scaled across users, applications, and environments. This is the intelligence layer behind CyberArk’s Identity Governance platform — shaping how organizations understand who has access, why they have it, and whether it should exist.

This is not a typical Engineering Manager role. It is a high-impact leadership position driving one of CyberArk’s most strategic identity capabilities.

Where You’ll Sit: This role sits within CyberArk’s Identity Governance organization and reports into senior platform leadership. You will operate alongside product, architecture, and security leaders while serving as the day-to-day people and execution leader for the Entitlements Platform team.

Why This Role Is Different. You will step into a highly visible position that directly influences how global organizations reduce over-provisioned access, strengthen governance accuracy, and modernize identity decision-making at enterprise scale.

You won’t just manage a team — you will lead the evolution of a core identity platform that defines CyberArk’s next chapter in governance.

What You'll Own: You will lead a team of approximately 5 engineers responsible for the Entitlements Platform, with opportunity to scale as the platform and organization grow.

  • Lead and develop the team responsible for the Entitlements Platform and its core services

  • Own delivery, prioritization, escalations, and overall team performance

  • Provide technical leadership across system design, RESTful API architecture, service integration patterns, and platform scalability

  • Drive sprint execution and ensure predictable, high-quality output

  • Partner with Product, Architecture, and Security to align platform outcomes with customer and business value

  • Guide platform maturity, innovation, and future growth

You are a servant leader who combines technical credibility with the ability to inspire, stabilize, and scale engineering teams. You remove obstacles, support your team’s growth, and create the conditions for engineers to do their best work.

You enjoy operating in environments where the product is evolving and the impact is visible, and you bring clarity, calm, and direction as complexity grows.

You likely bring:

  • Experience leading engineering teams in SaaS or platform environments

  • Strong system design and API architecture expertise

  • Background building scalable cloud-native systems (AWS preferred)

  • Proven experience building scalable RESTful web applications and developing well-designed APIs

  • Node.js experience is most critical; Express is helpful, while Angular and MongoDB are beneficial but not defining

  • A collaborative, people-first leadership style with influence across functions

  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving structure through growth

  • Ability to work hybrid in the Newton, MA office 3 days a week.

The Impact

This team powers the intelligence layer behind CyberArk’s Identity Governance platform. The leader in this role will shape how organizations govern access, reduce identity risk, and improve security posture at scale, influencing the future of enterprise identity security.

If you’re excited by the opportunity to lead a platform that defines how access is controlled across the modern digital enterprise, we’d love to explore this with you.
