Job Description

CyberArk is looking for an IT R&D applications team leader who will be responsible for leading and managing multiple cross-functional projects that develop, maintain, and support various IT applications and systems for our R&D department.

As a team leader, you will oversee the entire IT-R&D business applications workplan, from planning and design to testing and deployment, ensuring that the team delivers high-quality solutions that meet the business needs and objectives.

You will also foster a culture of agile practices, continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation within the team and with our R&D stakeholders.

  • Serve as the business applications main point of contact for our R&D department.
  • Lead and manage the team, ensuring that they have clear goals, roles, and responsibilities, and that they follow the best practices and standards.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to the teams, and help them resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the implementation process.
  • Monitor and track the progress, performance, and quality of the team deliverables, and report on the status and outcomes to management and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other IT teams, R&D teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment and integration of the IT R&D applications and systems with the overall IT strategy and architecture.
  • Act as activity/project manager for strategic projects.
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies, trends, and opportunities that can enhance the IT R&D applications and systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, information science, information systems management (or equivalent field) - An advantage
  • At least 3 years of experience in leading and managing a team, preferably in the IT R&D domain.
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with agile practices, methodologies, and frameworks, such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Proficient in using jira and other tools for agile project management, collaboration, and documentation. You should have experience in creating and managing jira boards, workflows, issues, and reports, and integrating jira with other applications and systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and influence others.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to handle complex and ambiguous situations.
  • Highly adaptable, flexible, and resilient, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
