Job Description

Cybervadis is recruiting a Billing and Collection Associate Junior to join the Finance team. The Associate will assist in managing the billing and collection activities for CyberVadis in Mauritius.

This role carries responsibilities of full-cycle end-to-end billing and collection process for CyberVadis including but not limited to invoicing, billing modifications, collections and reconciliation of key customer accounts. This position reports to the Billing and Collection Associate L2  based in Ebene, Mauritius. 

Core responsibilities:

  • Issue and send invoices/credit notes as and when required.
  • Respond timely to customer requests on a daily basis and resolve any billing queries.
  • Undertake required actions with a portfolio of aging receivables accounts to ensure accurate and timely recovery of all past due accounts.
  • Be a key point of contact and collaborate with internal teams to move forward with cases, handle escalations and to clear incoming payments and refunds as and when required.
  • Identify and flag information regarding high-risk accounts and refer them to 3rd-party collections where appropriate.
  • Assist with the variety of internal projects based on the needs of the organization.
  • Support the Accounting team during the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close process.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a Business related discipline (Business, Finance, Management) or any equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2 years of experience in billing and/or collection operations. Prior experience in customer service is a plus.
  • A demonstrated ability to work successfully on cross-functional teams is required.
  • High proficiency in Excel is a must. Proficiency in Salesforce would be an advantage. 
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and French is a must. Proficiency in additional languages would be a plus.
