Company Description

Support the company's materials needs by coordinating the functions of shipping, receiving, and inventory control.  Receives and verifies in-coming materials and supplies, and prepares and ships finished products.

Job Description

  • Handling and processing of incoming materials as part of the standard receiving process.
  • Picking and preparation of materials and products for production and shipping activities.
  • Preparation and maintenance of production material kits
  • Receive, document and process all field returned devices in a timely fashion to expedite complaint handing efforts. 
  • Maintaining shipping, receiving, raw materials inventory and finished goods areas in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Monitor and replenish Manufacturing inventory locations.
  • Perform material transfers and their appropriate data entry activities.
  • Active involvement of all cycle counting and physical inventories and generation of applicable documentation/reports.
  • Mastery in use of barcoded data collection system with regards to the receiving, warehousing, cycle counting and material picking workflows including related labelling.
  • Package final product per written specification.
  • Maintain inventory records.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Comply with written company policies and procedures.
  • Participate and lead process improvement processes related to inventory control.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Organize the department for the most efficient flow and timely response to assignments.
  • Strong analytical/reasoning, organizational, multitasking, and written/oral communication skills.
  • Good negotiation, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience is required. 

Experience Requirements:

  •  Minimum three years related experience in materials handling/processing in addition to experience in computer tracking of materials and the use of spreadsheets and charting software.
  • Two years shipping/receiving or clerical experience.

Special Requirements:

  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a team player.
  • Computer/Software literate (ERP, MRP, MS Office).  Fourth Shift and barcode data collection experience a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with ERP implementations.
