We are looking for a Junior Data & Billing Analyst to join our Retail Services team. This role sits at the intersection of energy market operations, data integrity, and digital enablement — supporting billing accuracy, EDI workflows, and analytics across major US power markets.

You will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure billing precision, surface anomalies early, and continuously improve how we validate and report data. If you enjoy solving complex operational problems with clean data and sharp logic, this role is for you.

Key rezponsibilities

Billing & Market Operations

• Support billing and EDI operations across PJM, ISO-NE, NYISO, MISO, and CAISO markets
• Manage client billing portfolios — validation, reconciliation, exception handling, and audit support
• Conduct shadow billing and billing logic checks to ensure accuracy across payment workflows
• Leverage retail energy market knowledge to maintain strong client relationships

Data, Reporting & Analytics

• Perform data validation and reconciliation using SQL and Excel
• Monitor Power BI dashboards to track billing performance and proactively flag anomalies
• Work within the CES|BLUE platform to validate, enhance, and develop reporting and system features
• Support ad hoc analysis and operational projects as needed

AI & Digital Enablement

• Apply AI tools and agents to streamline billing, validation, and reporting processes
• Use AI for anomaly detection, insights generation, and workflow optimization
• Identify opportunities to embed AI-driven automation into dashboards and operational workflows

Process Improvement

• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve automation, validation logic, and operational efficiency
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Retail Services practice

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or analytical field
• 2–3 years of experience in billing, data analytics, or utility/energy markets
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Clear verbal and written communication — ability to translate data into business context
• Comfortable working in a deadline-driven, multi-priority environment
• Exposure to AI tools or automation technologies is an advantage
