• Model development and execution: Developing production cost models for system level analysis at state/ISO/national level using proprietary software like PROMOD/PLEXOS or open-source frameworks like PyPSA, GridPath etc.
• Data Collection and Validation:  Carry out relevant data collection, cleaning, aggregation, organization, presentation, and validation
• Template creation for model Input/Output: Setting templates to systematically input or output data to/from models developed in PROMOD or PyPSA or another framework.
• Literature review: Studying publicly available documents to extract usable information for modeling purposes
• Provide analytical support: Provide necessary analytical support/value addition/improvement to ongoing projects in the wholesale/ retail electricity markets
• Software: PROMOD, PyPSA, Python, Excel

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering. Masters/PhD Preferred.
• Experience with production cost models is required; Preference will be given to candidates with working knowledge/background with PROMOD
• Knowledge of energy storage concepts including grid level storage, behind the meter storage, energy storage and battery technology, renewables pairing, and energy storage dispatch modeling preferred.
• Strong analytical/quantitative skills required
• Usual working hours 1 to 9 pm to interface with US clients and colleagues. Flexibility to accommodate US work required.
• Knowledge of RTO/ISO markets preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively required
• Business development orientation preferred
