Job Description
Your Opportunity
As the Executive Assistant, you’ll play a critical role in providing high-level administrative and strategic support to the Chief Legal and People Officer and Company Secretary and senior leaders across the Legal, Company Secretarial, PVMO, and People & Culture functions. This includes, but not limited to, coordination of Secretariat, investor and insurance program responsibilities. From providing exceptional organisation skills, discretion and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly confidential environment, your work will make a tangible difference to the businesses and customers that the Australian financial sector serves.
You’ll also make an impact by:
- Assisting in all elements of the role, i.e., diary management, emails, correspondence and presentations.
- Independently co-ordinate domestic and international travel for the Chief Legal and People Officer and Company Secretary and others as required.
- Expense Management and processing for Legal, Company Secretary, PVMO and People and Culture.
- Arrange meetings, agendas and take minutes as required, including management meetings, committees, and ensuring action items are followed up.
- Working closely with the Assistant Company Secretary on matters pertaining to the Organisation’s Board Cycle including assisting with the coordination of Board Packs.
- Manage and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Chief Legal and People Officer and Company Secretary, ensuring confidentiality and security of Cuscal information.
- Keep the Chief Legal and People Officer and Company Secretary advised of time-sensitive and priority issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up.
- Communicate directly with the Executive Leadership Team and senior management, the Board of Directors, advising them on matters pertaining to Legal, People and Culture, PVMO & Company Secretary matters.
- Ensure briefing material is arranged and made available to members of the Executive Leadership Team in accordance with diary commitments.
- During the Chief Legal and People Officer and Company Secretary’s absence take initiative to manage workflow and delegate tasks in consultation with others.
- Drawing on support provided by others, have overall management of a range of critical committees, suppliers, and internal events and working groups, including coordination of agendas and presentation material.
Qualifications

You’re detail orientated, with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are driven to contribute to a dynamic team.
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience in an Executive Assistant role.
- Experience supporting multiple departments and multiple senior leaders with competing priorities.
- Understanding of the different roles of investors, board and management in corporate governance.
- Maturity and can be trusted to act professionally, confidentially and with absolute discretion in all dealings.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively when required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, including ability to prioritise and achieve outcomes.
- Exceptional communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in an ASX listed environment.
You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:
- Experience in the Financial Services Industry.
- Prior experience supporting Board initiatives and cycles or Company Secretary roles.
