Job Description

This is a Maximum-Term Contract for up to 9-months.

As our Financial Processing Officer, you’ll contribute to financial processing services. You’ll play a key role in supporting Cuscal’s strategic goals and delivering value to clients, colleagues, and the broader business. 

You’ll also make an impact by: 

  • Review and verify invoices submitted for processing including perform valid tax invoice review and 3-way match 

  • Process payments, credit notes and refunds in compliance with financial policies, controls and procedures 

  • Process transfers, international, ad hoc or urgent payments 

  • Correspond with suppliers and internal staff on invoice or account queries 

  • Verify vendor details and administer creation/modification of vendor accounts  

  • Ensure appropriate approvals and delegation of authority assigned and obtained 

  • Reconcile vendor accounts as required 

  • Corporate Card administration 

  • Provide guidance to employees on invoice and PO processing, travel, cab charge and expense claim reimbursements 

  • Assist with the creation of billing of client invoicing 

  • Provide support for the day to day running of the office 

  • Work co-operatively with the team to meet operational objectives and assist with payroll, ad hoc duties, reporting and deliverables 

  • Contribute to applicable improvement initiatives 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you’ll have:

  • 2+ years' experience in Accounts Payable 

  • MS Excel (VLOOKUP) 

  • Experience financial processing function in mid to large organisation 

  • Practice of following applicable compliance and business process controls in relation to handling of payments. May be acquired through academic or on the job training or a combination of these 

You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following: 

  • Experience with IPOS, Concur and Workday
