We are looking for a Senior Manager, Market Solutions to join our Client, Growth and Strategy team.   

The Senior Manager, Market Solutions is responsible for partnering with Business Development stakeholders to identify and drive new opportunities, and position Cuscal solutions to capture new business.  Reporting to the Head of Strategic Growth, this role blends cross-functional collaboration on product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies with building strategic relationships across key growth segments to evaluate market and solution viability. Responsibilities for the role include:

  • Partnering with Business Development Managers in early deal stages to identify client needs, craft tailored solutions, and provide market-relevant insights during prospect engagements.   

  • Conduct market scans and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, threats, and whitespace opportunities relevant to Cuscal’s growth strategy.  

  • Work with Marketing and Sales Enablement teams to translate client and market insights into compelling value propositions and solution narratives that resonate with target segments.  

  • Prepare ELT briefing papers and opportunity assessments that distil market trends, client needs, and competitive dynamics into actionable insights for internal stakeholders and decision-makers. 

  • Working closely with prospects and internal teams to design and propose solutions that align with both prospect needs and company capabilities. 

  • Serving as a subject matter expert, translating technical product features and market trends into clear business value propositions during prospect presentations and proposals. 

  • Contributing to proposal development, ensuring the technical and strategic accuracy of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).  

  • Helping Sales Enablement differentiate solutions by highlighting unique features and strategic advantages based on market knowledge and competitive analysis. 

  • Working with Strategy, Product, Sales Enablement and Marketing teams to ensure solutions are aligned with the latest market trends and client feedback.  

  • Building strong relationships with prospect stakeholders, particularly on the technical and strategic side, to influence early-stage decision-making. 

  • Providing feedback from Business Development and prospect engagements to the Product team, influencing future product improvements and innovations based on client and market needs. 

About You: 
You’re a commercially minded strategist with proven experience shaping market-led solutions and driving business growth. You combine deep market insight with strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration to deliver tailored, high-impact outcomes with the below skills/experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Engineering, or Business. 

  • Extensive industry experience in payments technology solutions, with a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. 

  • Proven experience in solution strategy development, including aligning product offerings with market opportunities and customer challenges across key verticals. 

  • Understanding of enterprise technology solutions, such as cloud services, software platforms, data management, and security. 

  • Strong sales support background, with hands-on experience engaging with customers in early deal stages and designing tailored solutions. 

  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing teams to influence product development and go-to-market strategies based on customer insights. 

  • Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to build effective customer relationships and influence with C-Level executives and other senior business and technical stakeholders.
