Job Description

Your Opportunity 

We’re looking for a Delivery Manager to join our Technology Risk & Governance team.

In this role, you’ll leverage your technical skills to develop, maintain, and support innovative solutions that solve real-world challenges in the payments industry. From designing and building scalable systems to ensuring seamless integration with key technologies, your work will directly impact millions of users. 

You’ll also make an impact by: 

  • Manage scope, quality, and budget of various technology initiatives
  • Deliver initiatives in accordance with relevant delivery and enterprise frameworks, and governance requirements
  • Work closely with both business and technology management to help identify, evaluate, prioritise, articulate and schedule new initiatives
  • Ensure initiative solutions align to technology roadmaps and business goals/plans ensuring visibility of portfolio health, plans & challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with team members, other business units, other functions/practices, strategic partners, internal and external customers
  • Work with team managers to ensure the stable teams have the relevant skills and coverage and are "right sized" to meet the demand.
  • Ensure scope and variations are managed appropriately, and report risks to the relevant Owners
  • Manage initiative funding according to Cuscal's accounting policies and procedures, and within Program appetite
  • Regularly report progress and status: including meaningful and actionable insights and analysis around both long term and short-term portfolio planning, in line with Program expectations.
  • Demonstrates a strong attention to detail and a commitment to Delivery quality
  • Translate strategies into specific outcomes and initiatives that result in measurable improvement in Delivery throughout
  • Lead change within the Portfolio to foster a culture of one team, a nimble mindset, and laser focus on outcomes
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and provide regular, constructive suggest changes.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring 

To succeed in this role, you’ll have: 

  • Previously had role as a Delivery Manager, or Consultant running projects in a banking or financial services environment
  • Broad knowledge of payment systems and banking technology
  • Certifications and experience with multiple project delivery methodologies, including agile and waterfall
  • Strong competency with Atlassian suite
  • Tertiary qualifications expected
  • PRINCE2, PMP, Leading SAFe and/or similar desired
