Job Description

Your Opportunity 

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Program Delivery to join our Technology Risk & Governance team.

In this role, you’ll leverage your technical skills to develop, maintain, and support innovative solutions that solve real-world challenges in the payments industry. From designing and building scalable systems to ensuring seamless integration with key technologies, your work will directly impact millions of users. 

You’ll also make an impact by: 

  • Define, implement and embed program governance and delivery framework for all ETS projects and initiatives including BAU initiatives, leveraging scalable governance based on risk and complexity.

  • Define the program governance (controls), plan the overall program in terms of work streams, team structure and create an environment where all aspects of the programme/portfolio (progress / issues/risks / resources) are effectively managed throughout the program life cycle.

  • Aligning the deliverable (outputs) to the programs’ outcomes and strategic benefits with the assistance and direction of the project owner.

  • Define and manage an executive reporting timetable, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders: Reporting of projects status across the performance indicators using RAG measures along with clear, transparent and relevant communication.

  • Leverage technical knowledge and experience to provide perspectives that support the understanding and management of program uncertainty, ambiguity and complexity and facilitate understanding using exceptionally strong communication skills.

  • Able to create a “one team” approach across disparate members of project teams by sharing best practise and common programme/department goals.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring 

To succeed in this role, you’ll have: 

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience performing end to end program management of complex initiatives (program budget $5-20M) covering business, technology and vendor engagement involving multiple industry stakeholders and multi delivery streams of work.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in ICT and/or business change implementations environment.

  • Experience of structured project methodologies, tools (Microsoft Project) and recognised project management disciplines overseeing quality assurance and change processes and practises.

  • Strong understanding and usage of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) terminology and processes

You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following: 

  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, or in fast-growing environment.

  • Experience with ITIL Service Management. 

  • Financial Services experience in payments and banking.
