Job Description
What is this role about?
The P&C Business Partner works directly with the business & the Senior Business Partner to implement the execution of the people agenda and strategy, the annual calendar of HR related activities.
This role has a blend of strategic and tactical responsibilities such as:
- Supporting a client group/s which will include end to end P&C support and sound guidance and advice. Provide one to one coaching to develop leadership capability, employee matters and performance management issues
- Tactical BAU activities across the organisation such as case management, workers’ compensation and performance coaching, learning and development and talent management
- Provide coaching to managers on employee matters and performance management issues
- Help drive consistency in employee experience and engagement. By supporting the Senior Business Partner in analysing data to identify pressure points
- Support the Senior HR Business Partner to execute cyclical activities relating to performance management, coaching, create data insights on people data, organisational development, workforce planning and learning & development.
- Lead/ be involved in P&C projects to continue to drive P&C’s value add and impact across Cuscal, undertake learning needs analysis and building learning pathways and journeys that align with the business needs.
- Provide advice and guidance to employees and leaders on P&C policies and procedures in employment conditions, industrial relations, wage, salary and benefit administration, Occupational Health & Safety, Superannuation and employee services.
- Revising and updating P&C Policies and procedures in line with changes to legislation and best practice.
Qualifications
What can you bring?
- Proficient in multiple aspects of HR, such as Talent Management, Recruitment, Training & Development, Performance Management, Remuneration Management
- Employment Law
- Ability to apply theory to practical situations
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline desirable
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to give accurate and timely advice on HR policies and practices and the relevant Acts and Awards
- Demonstrated experience in managing ER/IR cases end to end, including investigations
- Experience in managing large scale change initiatives
