We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Shared Services domain.   

As a member of our Client Interface and Billing team, you’ll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting applications and systems that support the business needs of the customer. This includes analysis, design, build, test, and documenting solutions according to approved current standards and best practice methodology.  

In this role you will be responsible for:  

• Preparing technical specifications and program design documents to meet user requirements and functional specifications.  
• Performing analysis to support application and system design. 
• Analysing, designing, developing and testing software solutions that meet user requirements according to approved IT standards and best practice methodology. 
• Adhering to architecture, design, implementation, and security standards and best practices. 

• Developing reusable software building blocks to enable faster delivery. 

To be successful in this position, you’ll need knowledge and experience in: 

• Proficient in full-stack development with a focus on Angular, React, jQuery, AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Apache Tomcat.

• Design Patterns.

• Webservices (REST & SOAP).

• Micro-services implemented using Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Automated Unit & Integration testing frameworks.

• Understanding security concepts within APIs security.  

• Understanding CI/CD pipelines and test automation, and application deployments.    

• Understanding of virtualisation and container orchestration technologies such as Docker.  
• Awareness or experience in Secure Application Development methodologies.
• Understanding of secure authentication frameworks.  

Desirable: 

• Experience in modern API management and SaaS solutions.
• Exposure to Webseal, OKTA, LDAP, and SSO systems.
• Liferay platform expertise.

• Knowledge of DevOps principles.
