Curry Up Now is a rapidly growing Indian fast casual restaurant.  From our first food truck in 2009 to 5 trucks at the present time along with 3 Brick & Mortar stores and an ultra cool bar, we are in the midst of some pretty cool growth.  Our next store opens in San Jose later this year.  We are already the largest purveyor of Indian Street Food in the US and are primed for growth in 2015 and beyond...

Our food and concept is fresh, fast and bursting with flavor.   We offer contemporary food menus along with a large Gluten-Free, Vegan & Vegetarian menus. 

At this time, we are hiring for our restaurants in San Francisco, San Mateo and Palo Alto.

Job Description

We are looking to fill the following positions:

  • Cashiers/Host
  • Shift Leaders
  • Team Leaders
  • Expediter
  • Food Runners

Qualifications

  • Setting up restaurant for service 
  • Greeting customers and taking food orders
  • Running food to tables
  • Customer service
  • Light to Moderate cooking
  • Consistently and accurately using company provided Check Lists
  • Washing cookware and utensils and bussing tables throughout your shift (as needed)
  • Cleaning equipment, floor, surfaces etc. throughout your shift (as needed)
  • 2-3 Years of Food experience is a plus
  • Food Safety Certificate is required
  • Curry Up Now plans to cross-train all new employees, and wants candidates to know that previous work experience is not as important as a positive attitude
