Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team. As a Finance Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a strong foundation in various financial functions. This internship will provide you with exposure to different areas of finance, including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will work closely with our finance team and contribute to the achievement of our financial goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in financial data entry and maintenance of financial records
  • Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
  • Assist in financial modeling and scenario analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and provide support for financial projects
  • Perform research on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to support decision-making processes
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of professionalism and integrity
  • Prior internship or relevant work experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation

The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more.  This salary range is 22.00-24.00/hr.
