What’s the scoop?
You’ll be walking into a built sales organization that helps a ton of customers. Our sales cycle is less than 7 days and we deal with hundreds of leads a month. We’re an inbound organization and are looking to drive even more with Product-Led Growth. We need someone who can take what has been built to the next level and help us build out the organization. 

Position Mission
The VP of Sales position is focused on building out a repeatable framework for our sales organization: from training to operations to strategy. You’ll hone in on what is being done right and will build in new processes that make sense for the direction of the company.

What you’ll do:
As VP of Sales, you’ll report to the CMO and have a sales team reporting to you.

  • Recruit and develop top sales team members; planning, monitoring and appraising job results 
  • Lead a sales team to own and hit/exceed monthly sales targets
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base 
  • Leveraging a sales technology stack to gain predictable and scalable improvements
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and market trends 
  • Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts 
  • Ability to identify and solve client issues strategically 
  • Work with CMO on revenue strategies to achieve goals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Analyze pipeline and lead data, deliver periodic reporting to the sales and marketing teams providing key business insights. Reporting relates to Pipeline Forecast and Trends, Conversion Rates, Churn. 
  • Through reporting and analytics, validate the quality of the lead and pipeline data and provide guidance to improve the overall data quality 
  • Work with demand-gen team to scale our GTM engine
  • Work with our design and marketing teams to create valuable sales collateral
  • Develop quantifiable sales-related goals and milestones
     

Qualifications

Things we’re needing in you:

  • 5+ years in sales
  • SaaS sales
  • Experience selling $2,000-$10,000 deals
  • Experience with high-lead volume, inbound SaaS sales
  • Experience building playbooks and optimization sales operations
