Job Description

As an intern in Sales & Consultations, you'll acquire knowledge of the event management and software industry to help drive new business to the Curate platform. You will achieve personal sales targets and market goals within the customer segment. You will engage potential customers and develop conversational value propositions that meet their needs, assist the customer in getting onboarded onto the platform, and acquire volume from new customers and manage those relationships.

This is for a part-time unpaid internship in the spring to lead into a full-time paid summer internship.  

Day-To-Day:

  • Contact potential customers to establish opportunities for both Curate and the customer

  • Maintain records of customer activity to ensure proper call frequency and follow-up for customer education and retention

  • Sell and place product automation to ensure account growth and revenue generation

  • Meet and exceed assigned goals

  • Provide input on sales training, automation, account load management, and strategy implementation plans for new products

  • Assist with the implementation of various marketing programs and sales promotions

  • Execute on previously established guidelines, processes, and company principles

Qualifications

To be considered for an internship, you must:

  • Be a student actively pursuing a degree in a related field.

  • Be in your third year of study or higher.

  • Have your own computer and phone to use in the internship.

  • Have solid references that can point to specific examples of your awesome work ethic and willingness to learn.

  • Be able to legally work in the US. We don't offer sponsorships.

  • Be driven to succeed and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Be proficient in time management, setting priorities, and taking an initiative

  • Have exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills - phone, email, and webinar

  • Have technical expertise and ability to acquire knowledge of new products

  • Have a passion for building new business

  • Have a willingness to work in a collaborative work environment

  • Be metrics driven.  You've got to have a feel for the numbers.  

  • Be located in St. Louis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SaaS, B2B SMB experience

  • Experience working with Hubspot or other CRM platforms
