Job Description

Short and sweet:

You will be working on our development team to improve and maintain our current application. Working as part of a small startup, you will be expected to work on both the client side and server side of the application. You will be working as part of a team, some members of which are remote. We are looking for someone who loves to code, is empathetic to our customers, and can give input and feedback into the direction of the application.

Day-To-Day:

You’ll be contributing to our application on a daily basis. We push code to production multiple times during our 5-day sprints. We keep meetings to a minimum to support the development process of our team members. Working from our St Louis office, you will have daily contact with the team lead and have the opportunity to interface with our production team as well as marketing, sales, and customer success teams.

Why this is a beautiful opportunity:

You will make a dynamic difference and will have a voice in the direction of our product’s development. You’ll walk-in with one of the best equity opportunities available for any company that you’ll find. You will be part of a company that has direction, a competent product team, and a product that is loved by its users.

Some of our weaknesses:

Our application is in the middle of transitioning from an older Wordpress system to a more modern framework. We will be adding and building documentation, a full testing suite, and a CI/CD pipeline in the months to come. We will also be streamlining and improving our development processes. You will get to have input, give direction, and help in the implementation of these systems.

This position has a projected start date of March 1, 2020.
