Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our operational HR team on a fixed-term basis, supporting multiple sites including Belshill, Wakefield, Stockton, and Gadbrook.
This is a fast-paced, multi-site role where you’ll partner senior stakeholders and take full ownership of the HR agenda across your region.
This role requires union experience, excellent stakeholder management, and a data-driven approach. Regular travel between sites is essential.
The HR Business Partner key responsibilities will include:
- Day to day generalist role business partnering General Managers and other senior stakeholders in the business
- Case management – advising & supporting grievance/ performance/ disciplinary/ absence associated matters, coaching and developing stakeholders in the process
- Delivery of the Group wide HR strategy.
- Manage employee relations issues associated with any change, in particular proactive management of the relationship with employee representatives and trades unions
- Supporting the business with the development and delivery of people plans across multiple business units
- Influence the development and implementation of HR policies and processes to ensure they meet the needs of the business
- Ensure performance management processes are in place and operating effectively
- Management of Tribunal proceedings with ACAS intervention as required
- TUPE management
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a HR Business Partner role
- Strong trade union / industrial relations experience (essential)
- Confident influencing senior stakeholders
- Experience working in fast-paced environments (logistics, retail, manufacturing, public sector etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities
- Strong analytical mindset, comfortable using HR data
- Willingness to travel regularly across sites
