Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Gatehouse Administrator to join our team in Chesterfield on a full-time permanent basis!

Working hours: Sunday-Thursday, 22:00-06:00.

Salary: up to £23,423 per annum.

As a Gatehouse Administrator, you will accurately process the movement of our customer products within the warehouse and around the wider network. Based within the warehouse, it is crucial for you to deliver operational excellence and customer satisfaction with a high level of attention to detail.

Key Duties of a Gatehouse Administrator include:

  • Managing products (goods) both in and out of the warehouse, ensuring any stock is updated in the systems in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conducting stock takes, reconciling in the system and replenishing stock as required.
  • Completing purchase orders and providing updates and reports to the Management team and/or Customer as required.
  • Overseeing the loading and unloading of vehicles and trailers.
  • Ensuring the warehouse maintains a safe and clean environment.
  • Updating relevant systems with key information to record the outcomes of product movement and tracking of all mandatory KPI's.

Qualifications

  • Ideally you will have proven experience within a Warehouse, Transport, Logistics or 3PL environment. 
  • Previous Goods In/Out, Stock Control or Inventory experience is advantageous. 
  • Proficient in the use of Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail along with a proven customer service background. 
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to work within a warehouse environment dealing with products in/outbound and returns when required.
