What's the role?

Shift: 5/7 rotating 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 

Salary: £27,069 + £2,706 shift allowance 

IForce have an exciting opportunity for a Shift Supervisor to join the team in Redditch. the role will support the Shift Manager in ensuring both Outbound and Inbound productivities are achieved to optimum levels of cost and efficiency and quality, through the effective supervision and control and development of all staff and resources, whilst equally maintaining the highest levels of safety, welfare and security within all areas of responsibility. 

Main Responsibilities & Objectives:

  • Support the Shift Manager to ensure optimum levels of stock integrity are achieved through compliance to the processes and procedures of all Warehouse Operations.
  • Maintain correct completion of the AR by all members of staff and daily sign off.
  • Train all new and temporary staff in the completion and rationale of the AR.
  • Maintain, as a member of the management team, all Health & Safety requirements as regards the provision and maintenance of fire and safety equipment and the upkeep of all relevant checks, reports and documentation.
  • Conduct investigative processes and, where appropriate, take relevant action, with regards to providing rectification of operational deficiencies, implementation of change, counselling, coaching or/and disciplinary action, where deemed the appropriate course of action, up to and including Recorded Verbal Warning.
  • Drive and maintain a good working knowledge of SMART through the accumulation of on-the-job training and participation in centrally provided training sessions.
  • Manage people practices and work alongside Shift Manager in developing the capabilities within the team.
  • Take responsibility for the Team in the Shift Manager’s absence.
