Shift Pattern:

  • Monday-Friday 06:00am-14:00pm, or 09:00am-17:00pm or 12:00noon-22:00pm
  • Some Saturdays may be required to support the business needs - 06:00am-14:00pm. 

Salary:

  • £25,045 per annum.

Job Description

To prepare, present and serve meals to a high standard with the aim of achieving high restaurant sales and customer satisfaction. To ensure that the catering areas are operated and maintained in a clean and safe manner in line with the statutory regulations. Take control of menu planning and ensure that appropriate costings and stock control is achieved. Supervise and liase with the other catering staff in an effective manner.

  • Ensure full understanding and total compliance with all Food Safety regulations and Health and Safety rules
  • Ensure all catering activities are carried out in a clean and safe manner, in accordance with Company policies and procedures
  • Ensure protective clothing is worn and protective equipment is used as appropriate
  • Report equipment breakdowns and notify management accordingly
  • Ensure that all catering staff are aware of current food Hygiene regulations and company policies and training provided where appropriate .
  • Maximise sales at the site by preparing food to a high standard and presentation
  • Avoid customer complaints by ensuring food is prepared and presented satisfactorily to every customer
  • Be fully aware of site promotions with regard to any menu offers
  • Ensure that the till is operated in the correct manner
  • Ensure all food has been correctly proportioned to minimise waste and control expenditure at the site
  • Monitor and control food wastage levels .
  • Ensure all catering stock takes are completed in the time scale required

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate is essential – There is potential to be put through Level 4 Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • A knowledge of working in catering operations would be desirable , good food preparation skills
  • Basic Food Hygiene qualifications
  • Basic Health and safety qualifications
  • Till Training
  • Fire Training
  • A confident individual with people skills and a great communicator
