Offering defined career path opportunities to enhance and develop your skills and experience, we are recruiting for a Site Maintenance Engineer on a full time permanent basis at our Bristol site.

Shift: Monday to Friday. 

Salary: £28,038 per annum to £28,662 per annum. 

Job Description

To support the efficient operation of the site through proactive and reactive maintenance, ensuring plant and equipment uptime is maximised. 

  • Diagnose and carry out inspections, maintenance and remedial works for the depot which may include electrical, plumbing, hydraulic or building/fabrication according to relevant qualification or experience
  • Work to a weekly schedule and create job sheets as required to log and audit completed maintenance work.
  • To keep a log of reported defects and remedial actions undertaken and escalate requests for external contractors to attend to repairs as required via reporting line
  • Effectively communicate with site with regards to the outcome of any inspections or maintenance work completed.
  • Ensure all minor repairs and audit requirements are fixed in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all site Health and Safety requirements
  • Assist with the day to day cleanliness and presentation the business units buildings and outdoor spaces.
  • Ensure all regulatory and statutory requirements are met and adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Carry out all required tests and checks for various systems of sites on weekly, monthly, annual basis.
  • Continuous improvements, to improve existing operations
  • Support contractor control, including issuing permits to work and monitoring contractor compliance
  • To be involved in site projects as required

Qualifications

  • Experience with hand and power tool are essential.
  • Basic building material knowledge is required.
  • Full UK Driving licence is required (with no more than 6 points).
  • Electrical knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
  • Good administration skills
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and schedules
  • Proficient IT skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and outlook)
  • Committed to working and driving safely and securely at all times
  • Able to work at height
