Our Stafford site are now recruiting for a Goods In Administrator on a full time, permanent basis.

Salary: £25,487 per annum

Working hours: Nights, 19:00-07:00 - Rotating Shifts (2 on 2 off, 3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off)

Job Description

The purpose of a Goods In Administrator is to ensure Goods In vehicles are booked, tipped and monitored in a timely, effective and accurate manner

Key Duties of a Goods In Administrator:

  • Allocation of booking slots accordingly to warehouse plan and provision of booking references to hauliers
  • Timely and accurate completion of Goods In schedule for client’s specification
  • Creation and modification of pre advise documents for inbound loads and returned stock
  • Processing of documentation on vehicle arrival and departure 
  • Checking of goods receipt notes to pre advise and deliver note
  • Compilation of Goods In statistics
  • Investigate source of returned product
  • Process cross docked load/ paperwork
  • Creation of Goods In non-conformance reports
  • Control pallet documentation
  • Maintenance of Goods In Files
  • Other administrative tasks as determined from time to time

Qualifications

  • Attention to detail / accuracy
  • Ability and willingness to work as effective team member
  • Clean and tidy approach to work
  • Self-starter / able to use own initiative
  • Conscientious and reliable
  • Able to manage own time / workload effectively
  • PC Literate (Excel & Word or equivalent)
  • Effective communicator who conscientiously demonstrates excellent customer service skills
