Great Bear is a leading 3rd party UK logistics business providing nationwide dedicated and shared user warehousing and distribution solutions for international blue chip clients.

We operate in excess of 9 million sq. ft. of warehousing and operate a large modern commercial vehicle fleet, coupled with an extensive added value service offering.

We are currently looking for MHE trained Warehouse Operatives at our Voltaic site in Dagenham. 

Shift Pattern:

4ON 4OFF weekly rotation as below.

• Week one: 06:00am-18:00pm
• Week two: 18:00pm-06:00am 

Salary: £13.00 per hour - £13.40 per hour depending on shift and experience. 

• Achieve and maintain the required level of work rate.
• Including but not limited to; Using Site WMS to Despatch, receive, marshall and put away stock
• Maintain good communication with Team Leaders and Managers
• Monitor and maintain the required housekeeping standards.
• Maintain Health and Safety via compliance with risk assessment guidelines ensuring that any issues are brought to the attention of the warehouse Team Leader and Manager.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures for the reporting of damages.
• Maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
• Be polite and courteous to your colleagues, visitors and visiting drivers, and all other site staff.
• Be willing to undertake any other aspect of warehouse work like rework, restack and housekeeping
• Be aware of the BRC status of the site and the products that are stored and handled required compliance as per HACCP plan.
• Ensure compliance while checking / operating MHE equipment

• FLT Licence essential - Counterbalance Licence and/or PPT experience. 
• Good Standard of Literacy and Numeracy
• 2 years previous experience in a highly active warehouse
• Able to work to targets within a fast pace environment
• Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning
