Part of the Culina Group, Morgan McLernon has the largest operation in Northern and Southern Ireland serving around 120 clients, specialising in ambient, chilled, and frozen storage and logistics services.

Morgan McLernon are currently recruiting for their Driver Academy, working in conjunction with PMC Training Services, based in Northern Ireland. 

The Morgan McLernon Driver Academy is open to all prospective Cat C Licence holders (18+) who have an interest in developing a career as an LGV Driver.

Class 2 HGV drivers will be sent to train on HGV Class 1 and upon succession of passing the C+E test, the driver will begin employment as a driver for Culina Group.

Essential requirements:

• Must hold Category C Licence and be aged 18+
• In addition to basic training all candidates will undergo 1 weeks supervised tuition on the Morgan McLernon fleet in Lurgan, along with our driver trainers
• All Academy Candidates will be expected to sign a 2 year Contract of Employment with Morgan McLernon before we will arrange any paid practical LGV training

Morgan McLernon will invest significantly in the training and skilling of all candidates who are accepted onto our Driver Academy. The cost of this training will be recovered from the driver’s salary for a period of 30 weeks following the successful completion of your training period.

Further details of potential driver salaries, training repayment terms and contract of employment can be discussed at the interview stage with the driver trainers.
