We are now recruiting for Class 2 Drivers based in Maidstone on a full time, permanent basis paying up to £40,014.00 per annum. 

As a driver at Fowler Welch Maidstone, you will be delivering temperature-controlled products to our customer's convenience store locations on a multi-drop basis (Up to 5 drops per trip).

Safety is at the heart of everything we do and in this customer-facing role, delivering a great experience for our customers is also a high priority.

The delivery is all cage work, mostly in dedicated service areas and also at the curb-side on both am and pm runs. Accuracy and on-time delivery are important and there is paperwork that needs to be completed as part of the delivery process.

Salary:

• £35,100.00 P/A - £40,014.00 P/A. 

Shift Pattern and Start time: 

• Friday-Tuesday PM start time 

Experience and Qualifications:

• Cat C Licence (Class 2)
• A good understanding of the legal requirements regarding tachograph and driving hours
• Sound geographical knowledge
• Sound knowledge of secure loading practices
• Professional manner and conduct when dealing with our customers
• Multi - Drop work 

Previous experience within a similar driving role is not a requirement for us – we will take on newly qualified drivers with a hard working attitude and a willingness to learn.
