We have an opportunity to join our team as a Stock Administrator, on a 6 month fixed term contract basis. 

 

Job Description

The days and hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:30-16:30

Salary: £19,500

The purpose of the role is to provide accurate stock administration, reconciling actual stock against system stock, investigating discrepancies and escalating non-conformance.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Creating and distributing stock reports to both internal and external customers.
  • Processing stock queries within agreed timeframes, providing customer care.
  • Investigating discrepancies and processing dispute procedures.
  • Undertaking PI Checks and Cycle Counting, ensuring monthly KPI targets are met as a minimum.
  • Processing system transactions to correct stock balances.
  • Investigating outstanding, incoming, outside and missing stock.
  • Empty location checks as required on the system.
  • Recording and escalating internal and external non-conformances.
  • General administration paperwork filing.
  • WMS user accounts & hardware maintenance
  • Other duties as reasonably required on an operational basis.

Qualifications

  • Previous stock control experience desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Team player who can also work on own initiative.
  • Able to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently and effectively.
  • Flexible in approach to work and shift patterns in order to cover for absence.
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
  • PC Literate in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

**Experience in a packing, or e-commerce operation would be advantageous**​​​​​​
