We are now recruiting for Transport First Line Manager on a permanent basis at CML site in Telford. 

Shifts: 4 on 4 off Nights - 18:00 - 06:00

Salary: £35,374 per annum

Purpose:

• To Provide Leadership within the Transport Team, assisting with the management in regards to the Legal compliance of the site and to ensure it operates within the Operator Licence Legislation, WTD and Health & Safety regulations.
• Manage the day to day running of the Transport Operation, ensuring that resource is planned to achieve the most efficient plan, whilst adhering to both legal and site constraints.
• To ensure a high level of communication between departments, colleagues, clients and stake holders is maintained on a daily basis.
• To engage the workforce by having regular communication with employees, setting targets and managing performance both as a team and individual basis.

The Transport First Line Manager will be accountable for:

• Manage the day to day running of the Transport Operation.
• Operate and manage day to day performance of KPI’s, Drivers and office staff
• Manage Health & Safety for Transport Operations
• Working with key suppliers in regarding to Sub contracting and Agency staff
• Manage Core and Agency drive
