Culina Logistics is the leading 3rd party UK logistics business. Specialising in chilled warehousing and providing an excellent platform for food and drink manufactures.

We are recruiting for a Yard Shunter to work in our chilled warehouse at our Market Drayton depot on a permanent contract.

Shifts:

4 on 4 off 

Days - 06:00 - 18:00

Afternoon - 13:00 - 01:00 (£10 per shift bonus) 

Salary: £35,043.26 per annum 

• Effectively managing own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive
• Conducting daily checks, immediately reporting any defects and / or damage and completing associated documentation
• Carrying out trailer checks on loaded trailers and report to ops staff
• Completing trailer checklist and reporting to operations desk
• Carrying out shunting duties including relevant maintenance and safety checks
• Liaising with the warehouse control and goods in staff to ensure smooth and efficient loading / unloading of trailers
• Completing vehicles downloads as per the company policy
• Monitoring services / MOTs – liaising with transport office and with service vendors
• Assisting with fuel delivery / manual dip of fuel
• Keeping yard in clean / tidy condition

• Possession of LGV Class 1 Licence
• Current CPC
