Job Description

Responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the national administration team, ensuring their tasks are carried out in a timely and effective manner and organizing shift cover and holidays.

Working with the Administration Team Leader to support the team in the delivery of their responsibilities and take a pro-active role in their development.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8.00-17.00

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring deadlines are adhered to at all time
  • Dealing with customer and account queries
  • Monitoring daily night report, highlighting and escalating to Team Leader if any issues / errors arise
  • Managing employee holidays and arranging appropriate cover
  • Completing and monitoring employee attendance records Admin Team
  • Mentoring the administration team
  • Identify training plans
  • To provide cover for the other Lead Role (Input / PODs)
  • Ensure staff are well trained in systems of work and understand Company processes and procedures.
  • Make suggestions for improvements in the way task/processes are carried out
  • Ensure all people issues are dealt with in a timely manner and in line with HR policy and process
  • Daily Checksheet completed with daily records of volumes of work logged and sent to Administration Team Leader and Administration Manager in a timely manner
  • On Call cover for weekends (One weekend in four)
  • Daily role will still include your POD / Input tasks
  • Providing support to the Administration Team Leader

Qualifications

  • Customer service experience is desirable
  • Able to work in a fast paced office environment
  • Experience of working within a target driven environment is advantageous 
  • Previous experience with dealing with POD’s / Order Entry is desirable
  • A good standard of education including Maths and English at GCSE level or equivalent relevant qualifications
  • Microsoft packages including Excel, Word and Access
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
