Culina Logistics is the leading 3rd party UK logistics business specialising in chilled warehousing providing an excellent platform for food and drink manufactures.

We are currently recruiting for a Control Room Operative on a full-time, permanent contract based at our chilled Annesley site..

Shift: 3 on 3 off Days 06:00 - 18:00

Salary: £10.40 p/h and OT x1.5

• Coordinating and monitoring the Warehouse operational processes so as to ensure the loads are picked and dispatched on time to high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Communicating continuously and coordinating with the Shift Manager and Team Leaders including reallocation of staff to other areas in the Warehouse.
• Prioritising and scheduling client orders on Warehouse Management System identifying and resolving orders having allocation shortfall and order fulfilment issues.
• Liaising and coordinating with the Transport Department for allocation of trailers.
• Liaising with Sales Order Processing and Planning for updates and progress on orders and loads.
• Allocating of loads onto bays for loading.
• Printing load sheets with relevant details.
• Prioritising orders for picking and loadings in line with set deadlines.
• Closing and opening pick faces and manual retrievals as required.
• Managing pick face.
• Producing reports at the end of the shift.
• Liaising with Stock Control team to ensure order fulfilment is maximised.
• Liaising with Transport Operations team regarding timely arrival of subcontracted loads.

• Ability to communicate in a positive and clear manner.
• Able to plan, organise and prioritise work to strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience of WMS, Email and Excel.
• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous.
• Experience of labour activity scheduling is advantageous.
