Great Bear is an award-winning 3rd Party UK business of Ambient products, providing nationwide dedicated and shared user warehousing and distribution solutions. 

We are recruiting for LGV HGV Class 1 Drivers to work at our Wigan depot on a Full Time, permanent basis as well as Casual .

For the time time positions:

Shifts: Monday to Friday- Nights

4o4o days

Friday/ Saturday/ Sunday/ Monday - casual days

Salary: £12.5p/h plus £1 p/h night supplement between 18:00-06:00)

• Accurate and safe delivery of customer product within the specified delivery area.
• Regular liaison with the Transport Office to report and update any challenges, reportable matters and completion of run.
• Undertake multi drop delivery, collection or trunking as required.
• Record deliveries and follow specific instructions for each customer site.
• Maintain good working order of Great Bear vehicles and any equipment on board, ensuring that any service requirements are reported as they occur.
• Complete daily vehicle checks.
• Ensure that reasonable care is taken at all times and that Health & Safety Policies are adhered to.

• Possession of LGV Class 1 Licence
• Current CPC and tacho card
• Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours.
