We looking for an experienced Operations Administrator to join on a permanent full-time basis, based from our Blackrod, Bolton depot.

Shifts:  Any 5 from 7 Days   

Salary: £9.50 ph ; OT x1.33

Job Description

Provide office support to the operation, in both the scope of POD / Claims mitigation and general office administration including the use of Scion (Purchase Order System)

  • Sort PODs as instructed and scan in an accurate and timely manner
  • Check PODs have cleared on the system, investigate and clear down unallocated PODs
  • Log incorrect PODs on the system as identified by the daily POD report
  • Chase outstanding PODs from hauliers, depots, etc.
  •  Ensure customer / client queries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner and to the satisfaction of the customer
  • Ensure customer / client reports are completed/formatted correctly and communicated in accordance with agreed timeframes
  • Ensure customer / client non-conformance is properly recorded and fed-back to the client and corrective action taken
  • Ensure POD discrepancies are investigated and that actions taken are properly recorded and the outcome communicated to the client as appropriate
  • Manage and maintain Claims Investigatory Log, ensuring all pertinent information is available 
  • All documentation appertaining to claim;
  • Reviewing video footage,
  • Customer communication (If required extra info);
  • Internal communication;
  • Make recommendations based on information gathered during investigation;
  • Log any that are passed back to customer and monitor;
  • Raising of purchase orders from request, assigning to correct cost centres and ensuring the information is both accurate and recited in correct finical week
  • Support the management team with any other duties as and when requested.
